What is a loft ladder?
The ladder has to suit the floor-to-ceiling height, the hatch size and the space on the landing where it lands. We measure all three before choosing a model. More about a loft ladder.

Why book with us in Risca
Photos of the finished loft
You see the work done without climbing the ladder.
Fixed written price
The price on the quote is the price you pay. It only changes if you change the job, or if we find something hidden, such as rot, and you agree the change in writing first.
Tidy work
Dust sheets on the route in and every bit of packaging taken away.
We measure before we quote
Existing depth, joist spacing, wiring and the tank are checked, not guessed.
How much does a loft ladder cost in Risca?
This work is not an energy-saving material for VAT, so it is standard-rated if VAT applies. Where it is done alongside insulation, the quote shows each part separately.
Building regulations in Wales
Wales has its own Approved Document L. Insulation alone is not normally notified, but conversions need building control. How the rules work across the UK.
