What is a loft ladder?
The ladder has to suit the floor-to-ceiling height, the hatch size and the space on the landing where it lands. Ladders with an integrated insulated hatch are the neatest option because they replace the old hatch completely. More about a loft ladder.
- Handrail or light added if agreed
- Adjusted to your floor-to-ceiling height

Questions about a loft ladder in Cwmbran
Can you visit Cwmbran outside working hours?
Ask about early, late or weekend appointments when you get in touch, and we will tell you honestly what we can offer.
Do you charge extra to travel to Cwmbran?
Not normally. Our guide prices include normal travel to Cwmbran. If an address needs a ferry or an unusually long journey, we tell you the cost before you book.
How do I pay for work in Cwmbran?
Payment terms are set out on your quote. We never ask for payment on the doorstep or in cash.
What size hatch do I need for a loft ladder?
Most standard ladders need an opening of about 550 by 700 mm or more. We check the model against your hatch before ordering.
Can you fit a loft light at the same time?
We can arrange it. A new lighting circuit is notifiable electrical work, so we use a registered electrician.
