Terms and conditions
These terms apply when you use this website and when you ask S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd ("we"), trading as Loft Insulation Installers, to quote for or carry out work. Your quote may add terms specific to your job; if the two differ, the quote applies. Last updated October 2026.

Guide prices and quotes
- Prices on this website and from the guide price tool are guides, not offers. A contract only exists when you accept a written quote.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless they say otherwise.
- The quoted price is fixed for the work described. If we find something that could not be seen at the survey, such as damp, rot, damaged wiring or material that may contain asbestos, we stop, explain and agree any change with you in writing before going on.
- Payment terms are set out on your quote. We never ask for payment on the doorstep or in cash.
- VAT, where it applies, is shown on the quote. Installing insulation in a home is zero-rated until 31 March 2027.
Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer and you agree the contract at your home, away from our office, by phone or online, you can cancel within 14 days without giving a reason. For work only, the 14 days start the day after the contract is made. Where we also supply goods, such as a loft ladder, they start the day after the goods are delivered; your quote says which applies. To cancel, tell us clearly by phone, email or post, or use the model form below.
We will not start within the 14 days unless you ask us to in writing (email is fine). If you do, you must also confirm that you understand you will lose the right to cancel once the work is finished. If you cancel after we start, you pay for the work done up to the point you tell us. We refund any money due within 14 days of your cancellation, using the same payment method.
