What is room-in-roof insulation?
Most rooms-in-roof are reached by stripping the existing plasterboard on the slopes, fitting insulation between and over the rafters, and re-boarding. Where there is access behind the knee walls, we insulate the eaves voids and the floor behind them too. More about room-in-roof insulation.
- Boarding and finishing as agreed on the quote
- Eaves voids insulated where accessible

Questions about room-in-roof insulation in Enniskillen
Can you visit Enniskillen outside working hours?
Ask about early, late or weekend appointments when you get in touch, and we will tell you honestly what we can offer.
Is loft work in Enniskillen different from anywhere else?
The method is the same, but older terraces, cottages and newer estates each have their own quirks: lath ceilings, low pitches or trussed roofs. We plan for the loft we find.
How soon can you visit a home in Enniskillen?
We call you back to agree a time that suits you, and confirm the date in writing. Availability changes week to week, so we will give you the earliest slot we have.
How long does room-in-roof insulation take?
Usually three to six working days for one room, depending on how much is stripped and how it is finished.
Will the room get smaller?
Slightly. Insulated plasterboard over the rafters takes a few centimetres off each slope.
