Questions about sheep's wool or natural loft insulation in East Grinstead

Do you take on jobs outside East Grinstead?

Yes. We also work in Crawley and Haywards Heath and elsewhere in West Sussex.

Do you charge extra to travel to East Grinstead?

Not normally. Our guide prices include normal travel to East Grinstead. If an address needs a ferry or an unusually long journey, we tell you the cost before you book.

How soon can you visit a home in East Grinstead?

We call you back to agree a time that suits you, and confirm the date in writing. Availability changes week to week, so we will give you the earliest slot we have.

How deep does natural insulation need to be?

It depends on the product's thermal conductivity. Some need slightly more depth than mineral wool to reach the same U-value, which we allow for on the quote.

Is sheep's wool insulation worth the extra cost?

In an older breathable house, or if you care about the material, often yes. In a modern semi with plasterboard ceilings the extra cost buys little performance.
