Do you charge extra to travel to Taunton?
Not normally. Our guide prices include normal travel to Taunton. If an address needs a ferry or an unusually long journey, we tell you the cost before you book.

Yes. We also work in Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea and elsewhere in Somerset.
How deep does natural insulation need to be?
It depends on the product's thermal conductivity. Some need slightly more depth than mineral wool to reach the same U-value, which we allow for on the quote.
Is sheep's wool insulation worth the extra cost?
In an older breathable house, or if you care about the material, often yes. In a modern semi with plasterboard ceilings the extra cost buys little performance.
