Questions about sheep's wool or natural loft insulation in Borehamwood

Do you charge extra to travel to Borehamwood?

Not normally. Our guide prices include normal travel to Borehamwood. If an address needs a ferry or an unusually long journey, we tell you the cost before you book.

How soon can you visit a home in Borehamwood?

We call you back to agree a time that suits you, and confirm the date in writing. Availability changes week to week, so we will give you the earliest slot we have.

Will I get a written quote for work in Borehamwood?

Yes. Every quote is in writing with the work, the price and what is included, so you can compare it properly.

Is sheep's wool insulation worth the extra cost?

In an older breathable house, or if you care about the material, often yes. In a modern semi with plasterboard ceilings the extra cost buys little performance.

Do moths eat sheep's wool insulation?

Insulation-grade sheep's wool is treated against insects. We use products sold for loft insulation, not raw fleece.
