What is a loft insulation survey?
Standalone surveys are useful when you are buying a house, answering an EPC recommendation or settling a question about condensation or old insulation. You get the measured depth, photos, any concerns and what we would recommend, with prices if you want them. More about a loft insulation survey.

Why book with us in Forres
Written findings
You get photos and a plain list of what we found and what we would do about it.
Fixed written price
The price on the quote is the price you pay. It only changes if you change the job, or if we find something hidden, such as rot, and you agree the change in writing first.
No pressure selling
You get everything in writing and decide in your own time.
Plain-English advice
We explain what we find in plain English, and say so when nothing needs doing.
How much does a loft insulation survey cost in Forres?
This work is not an energy-saving material for VAT, so it is standard-rated if VAT applies. Where it is done alongside insulation, the quote shows each part separately.
Building standards in Scotland
In Scotland, insulating an existing loft does not normally need a building warrant, but the building standards still apply. How the rules work across the UK.
