What is a loft condensation investigation?
We inspect the loft in daylight and by torch, measure moisture in the timbers, check the underlay, ventilation, insulation and the routes that let warm air in from the house, and look at the roof from outside. You get written findings with photos and a plain list of what we recommend, which may include work we do not offer. More about a loft condensation investigation.

Questions about a loft condensation investigation in Wrexham
How soon can you visit a home in Wrexham?
We call you back to agree a time that suits you, and confirm the date in writing. Availability changes week to week, so we will give you the earliest slot we have.
Can you visit Wrexham outside working hours?
Ask about early, late or weekend appointments when you get in touch, and we will tell you honestly what we can offer.
Do you charge extra to travel to Wrexham?
Not normally. Our guide prices include normal travel to Wrexham. If an address needs a ferry or an unusually long journey, we tell you the cost before you book.
Is the investigation fee taken off the work?
The investigation is priced on its own so the advice is not tied to selling work. You decide what to do afterwards.
Is condensation in my loft normal?
A little on the coldest nights can be normal, especially with old felt. Dripping, wet insulation or mould are signs to investigate.
