What should I do before loft insulation is fitted?
- Clear stored items from the loft floor, or ask us to price clearing
- Move furniture away from the landing under the hatch
- Tell us about downlights, extractor fans and any roof leaks
- Make sure the water tank and boiler, if in the loft, can be reached
- Keep pets and children away from the landing on the day
Do I need to be home?
Someone needs to let the team in and be available at the end to see the photos and sign off the job. Most lofts are finished in a day.
Will it be dusty?
Some dust is unavoidable around the hatch. We sheet the route and the landing and clean up before leaving.
