What is blown loft insulation?
The machine stays outside or on the landing and the hose runs up to the loft. We hold a board or tray at the eaves so the loose fill cannot block the ventilation path. More about blown loft insulation.
- Eaves trays to keep ventilation open
- Loose-fill mineral wool to the agreed depth
- Hatch area finished with a retaining upstand

Questions about blown loft insulation in Brechin
Will I get a written quote for work in Brechin?
Yes. Every quote is in writing with the work, the price and what is included, so you can compare it properly.
Do you take on jobs outside Brechin?
Yes. We also work in Montrose and Forfar and elsewhere in Angus and Dundee.
Can you visit Brechin outside working hours?
Ask about early, late or weekend appointments when you get in touch, and we will tell you honestly what we can offer.
Does blown insulation settle?
Mineral wool loose fill settles a little, which is allowed for in the depth we install. The depth markers let you check it later.
Is it messy?
The hose runs through the house, so we sheet the route and the landing. The fibre stays in the loft.
